The International Republican Institute, a democracy building organization, funded in part by the United States Agency for International Development, has invited Ellen to conduct governance training in Mexico for a number of elected officials in mid-August.

Ellen’s previous work with IRI has been in Albania, where she worked with local elected officials and disability advocacy groups to find solutions to physical barriers in public spaces.

Jim has conducted political campaign and party building training for IRI on a volunteer basis since 1995 around the world, most recently in Jordan and Sudan.
