The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Austin Chapter has invited Jim Arnold of Arnold Public Affairs to speak at the PRSA Austin Chapter February Luncheon on Thursday, February 24th. The topic of the luncheon is “Politics and Communication” and the event will take place at The Austin Club.

PRSA is a professional group for people who work in public relations and communications. The Austin chapter provides resources for public relations professionals in Central Texas.

Jim will be joining a distinguished panel that includes:

• Jason Embry, Capitol Bureau Chief, Austin American-Statesman
• Tracy Young, Communications Director, Office of the Speaker of the House Joe Straus
• Jim Arnold, Principal, Arnold Public Affairs
• Megan Whitley, Senior Associate, Burson-Marsteller

If you work with the legislature or advocate in any way, you’ll want to attend this event. The luncheon will begin promptly at 12pm and will end at 1pm. Both PRSA members and non-members may register to attend.
