UPS, the largest operator of alternative fueled vehicles in the US, is bringing hybrid-electric vehicles to Texas and will unveil the new vehicles at an event with Governor Perry in early May.  Last session, the legislature passed a bill to provide incentives to fleet operators to replace older diesel fueled vehicles with cleaner burning alternative fueled vehicles and this is the first wave of such UPS trucks arriving in Texas.
